Here is a most encouraging promise. Do you want to dwell in His presence, then spend time with your Savior and praise Him.
But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel. Ps. 22:3*
If you are down, how about you lift up your praise. I know that we like to bring our cares and our concerns before the throne of Yahuah, but sometimes that praise is what He desires from us... and it may be just what we need.
How can we be sick in our spirits with His breath in our lungs? How can we His power has saved us and is right before our faces. Praise Him! Praise Him as long as it takes. Give Him your praise. By doing so, you may be giving Him your tears as well. I know that at His throne, many angels are seen praising Him. The weeping is for other places.
Three things to consider when worshiping Him in praise:
- With two or more (gathered in His Name), we are virtually assured of His presence. So - He is right there. Now how will we act? Will we seek people to criticize? Will we tweet our witty anecdote?
- We don't need professionals for this. Some people are gifted in leading people into a state of worship in praise. However, you don't need to rely on a musician or a laser show. Just praise Him.
- Our Father in Heaven desires this. Why else would he dwell there? He already knows the desires of our heart. Although we cannot stand and see His face, we can seek to be with Him face to face. Like the Psalmist (who had that worship gift, by the way) says:
Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more. Psalm 105:4*
