Purim was a blast!

God will not forsake us.

For such a time as this.

This year's celebration was so fun. It had a simple feel to it, yet the meaning seemed to pop out this year. Each year, we seem to gather new and different insight when we celebrate Bible holidays.

It seems that, in light of the recent turmoil in our country and around the world, that we can identify with the people of Israel (during the time of Queen Esther).

We gathered at the fellowship hall and feasted together as the Bass family presented a play based on the biblical events of the book of Esther. It was a radio play performed on stage in the tradition of the old-time radio dramas. This included a sound FX artist (Mollie) keeping up with the narrative of the play. It was a fun way to remind us that God is with us. We just need to keep our eyes on Him and be brave.

We are looking forward to the Passover celebration. Come expecting even more revelation and wisdom in His Word as we walk through a traditional Passover Haggadah.
